One source offered very little info and another hid its story behind a paywall...

A woman has been flown to hospital in Melbourne following a suspected diving accident.

Three people were treated by paramedics at Queenscliffe Pier yesterday afternoon.

A number of Ambulance Victoria units responded to the incident at the pier.

A woman in her 40’s was air-lifted to the Alfred Hospital while two others were taken to Geelong hospital.

The only information I can find is the same as first post. Seems it is probably a press release put out by ambulance service. Only a shallow dive, maximum of 8 metres, so hard to see what could go wrong to affect three divers.

The Alfred hospital has the only hyperbaric chamber, in the states hospital system. The Geelong Advertiser has a story behind a pay wall.

Bad air would…
Would love to have more information

That is assuming they were diving the pier. When I re-read the article it is a bit vague,
“Three people were treated by paramedics at Queenscliffe Pier yesterday afternoon.
A number of Ambulance Victoria units responded to the incident at the pier.”

If someone had problems outside the heads or on Lonsdale wall then Queenscliffe is the closest point that a boat could meet an ambulance.

Yes, that could be possible, had not thought of that.
