To satisfy your curiosity: I do know about a major shake-up in the CCR market that will absolutely revolutionise closed circuit diving and bring modern technologies, including an AI-assisted decompression algorithm, to a proven, durable and rugged CCR design. Sadly I cannot disclose much but I do have a pre-release photo - the unit should be behind the yellow exoskeleton that is simple to release yet prevents corrosion and dents, especially on boats.
The unveiling will happen at GoDiving industry event on the 1st of March at NAEC Stoleneigh Park in Coventry. Hold tight.

Reminds me of the bailout cylinder sizes that you see on British boats - maybe this is the secretHave you seen the one the British military have been working on for a few decades?

I don't think the design is that creative, there is too much yellow to be honest - I thought they would go for silver but maybe it's just a prototype and not the final unit that will be unveiled next week.So creative![]()
One of the main things with rebreather divers is the FACT that the absolute best rebreather in the world is probably on their back/side/chest. The ~$10k++ entry cost (plus training, spares, time spent practising) means that you cannot possibly admit that the one you went for is crap! That’s a very good conditioning mechanism
Thanks btw a lot for that user-pov crash course, way better than what I heard at boot about the unit and its diving intricacies
Ok this "marriage" might actually explain why i felt rebreather is a sensitive territory to ask about. The ~$10k++ entry cost (plus training, spares, time spent practising) means that you cannot possibly admit that the one you went for is crap!
Great review. I read here that rEvo iii has a zero tolerance policy for flood. Did u have any issue with that? Is that a bad thing or a good one?I do genuinely like my Revo though. Silly things I like about the design, such as you only need a very few common tools to look after it. OK, plus some spare Molex connector crimps. Also it has:
It’s not a policy, and it’s a bad thingGreat review. I read here that rEvo iii has a zero tolerance policy for flood. Did u have any issue with that? Is that a bad thing or a good one?
That’s the Revo’s worst point.Great review. I read here that rEvo iii has a zero tolerance policy for flood. Did u have any issue with that? Is that a bad thing or a good one?
