Bull shark selfie FTWAccording to the local authorities she “attempted to engage” with the shark
Self-inflicted, but now Sharks will get a bad name … Did she think it would behave like a friendly Labrador? Pat it on the head and then baby talk it to pose for the camera…?A shark bit the hands off a woman along the shore of a Caribbean beach while she was trying to take a picture with it... It has been determined that the tourist had attempted to engage with the animal from the shallows in an attempt to take photographs, the authorities said.
It is understood that it had been swimming in the area for around 40 minutes before striking…
I'm not sure why people have a problem with "attack"? Do you have any alternative words that fit better than attack? The shark did not attack her. She seemingly lured it in and it did what sharks do.
It was a shark bite. Anything else is speculative and irrelevant unless you are looking for clickbait or hate sharks. How about shark assault?![]()
