I am a new diver. I would like to hire for a private guided dive in Lake Hydra for diving there for the very first time. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Find a shop that takes students there and take any course that requires you to be in the water. Wreck, Deep etc. No rec diving allowed.

Where are you in NJ?

I am in Princeton. I have signed up for the AOW but would like to dive more during weekday morning when I have time while kid is in the school. :)

Call Atlantis Aquatics. See what they can do for you.

The guides that work with Atlantis Aquatics have set up a website where they post days they're available to dive. Right now the only availability is for today, Sunday October 6th.

There's a Contact Us form on the website you could send them a message.

Scubadelphia also regularly does trips to Lake Hydra, but I believe their last trip of the year was this past weekend

Hello Kahwailin. I will have access to lake hydra as soon they open 04/26/25.
I have about 400 dives there, and I'm insured A.I.
the beginning of the season is cold (drysuit only), but the viz is amazing!
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks
CM
