Hi all. We’re fortunate enough to have a five month holiday in the Philippines. We’re both experienced divers and here is our rough itinerary. Do you have any suggestions for us?

February and March:
Anilao (completed - trip report posted)
Sabang Puerto Galera (completed - trip report pending)
Dauin/Apo (completed - trip report pending)
Moalboat (completed - trip report pending)
Malapascua (here now)

April and May:
Camaguin
Bohol Anda
Bohol Pangloa
Bohol Balicasag
Bohol Pamilacan
Leyte, Sogod (Pete’s Dive Resort)
Palawan, Tubbataha (Liveaboard)

June
Coron
Any other locations in Palawan to dive?

In addition, does anyone have recommendations for a good technical diving operator in Coron?

I'm traveling to Coron next month and am unsure of where to stay in hopes of doing some great diving/snorkeling without being suck with super long boat rides to dive sites. Ideally I'd like to dive Irako/Okikawa Maru, but am open to other wrecks. Would also like to visit Barracuda...

The only company I dove with in Coron was Reggae, unsure if they do technical but they were very good for rec.

I'm looking forward to the TR in Sabang, going there in Jan for my DM.

We haven't picked a Camiguin dive centre yet, as we have a week with non diving friends first. We'll check the place out during that week.
We're going back to Sabang Puerto Galera in May to do a tech course with Tech Asia. For recreational diving check out Arkipelago Divers. We actually dived with a different operator on our first but would not return to them. We have been recommended Arkipelago by many people now, including professionals in Dauin and Anilao.

Trip Report - Sogod Bay and Panglao first weeks of May 2023

First part Sogod Bay. People ain't kidding when they say it's a long way to Sogod Bay, at least from Europe. That was first a long but comfortable trip to Singapore on AF, upgraded to Business class, overnight in S'pore hawkers dinner and dim sum breakfast, the SIN-Manila flight with Scoot...

Very disappointting, wouldn't care going back.
