A 28-year-old scuba diver hailing from Uttar Pradesh had a fatal accident when he went to plug leakage in the lock gate of Teesta Dam in West Bengal. He got stuck in the crevice of the dam while working at a depth of about 300 meters where the river water pressure was very high.

I suspect that he was surface gas supplied, but the pressure and differential pressure would still be tremendous,
