Zoom Gear Teeth won't mesh... what am I doing wrong?

Heeelp!

I have finally gotten my zoom gear ring for my tokina fisheye. I have an RDX600D housing and the stupid wheel teeth in the housing don't want to mesh with the teeth on the zoom gear. Does anyone els have this problem? Have you found a solution?

I have tried to get this lined up but nothing seems to make a difference.

Disappointing to say the least......

Any help or suggestions would be awesome, thank you!:D:D
