Just had a quick question on the Zeagle ZX second stages, does the color of the cap on the regulator mean anything? I ordered a ZX-Flathead VI configuration and the cap on the second stage is white. On the Zeagle website, the cap is black. . .

But, if I look at the ZX-50D or ZX-DSV options, they have a white cap on the second stage. The Zeagle second stages can all look alike, is there any easy way to tell the difference between the ZX and the Envoy? The only difference listed on the Zeagle site is the Anti-Freeze Heat Exchanger. If I had those two units side by side, how would I tell which is which?

Thanks for your help!

Call Zeagle. DId you look at your packing slip? The Flatheads only come in black.

Flatheads have come with light gray as well as black front covers, although they are pictured in black on the website and in product guides. The color doesn't really mean anything.

What makes it a ZX is the heat transmitter, which is easily seen between the hose and the second stage. It looks like a gear with teeth. It also has the hose cover next to it.

The same second stage without the heat transmitter is used on the Flathead XP and Envoy deluxe, and also does not have the hose cover.

The Envoy also does not have the adjustable seat tension control, only the venturi control.
