SimonN once bubbled...

But, the Zeagle wing has to be secured to the backplate in a weird and complicated way so will not work with other backplates.
For years Zeagle has been making Manta Wings, for use with shingles, even before they started selling their own. They're for doubles and available in 50lbs. and 65lbs., for single they (will) have a 34lbs. (after DEMA, I assume).

Their backplates come in ss and titanium, and will fit all their bc bladders, too. So you can use anything from their 34lbs. to 85lbs., plus just about anyone else's bolt on. Continious webbing harness or one with quick-release buckles.
The choice is yours (and should be :D ).

But you're certainly right about the stability issue of a bp/w vs. soft bc.
The ladder are no match no matter how many tanks you use.

Ah haaa....

The only Zeagle wings I have seen over here (other than those ripped out from BCs) are the ones that are supplied with some Draeger Dolphins. Like on Chris' site.

The stock attachment works pretty well with the BCDs, and allows for differnt bladders. I wouldn't use a BCD bladder on plate as you either have to bolt it to the edge of the plate, or it's gonna be unstable.
The manta wing is a good wing. The Dräger wing is a different story, no matter if it's the old Zeagle or the current AP Valves' one.
Custom H-frame, backplate, normal wing - solid, simple and some much needed negative buoyancy where you need it. :D
