My Brigade arrives tommorow! I can barely contain myself. ScubaToys has been awesome so far, every bit as good as averyone here says. I've been lurking around here for about six months and have really gotten great info, on the brigade and the legend lx I bought at my LDS, now I just need a computer to round out my equipment. I'm thinking the Aeris AI, any suggestions?

Congrats on your purchase. I'm a big fan of Scubatoys (and Zeagle) too.

I had an Aeris AI and like it better than any other console computer I've seen. It's compact, easy to use and read underwater and does everything you could possibly want from a computer unless you're doing some serious technical diving (in which case you probably shouldn't be relying on your computer anyway). I ended up switching to a wrist mount compass and computer because I prefer it to a console. So whether you want wrist or console mount is one thing to think about.

Another thing to consider is whether you need to spend the extra money for air integrated. I'm a gadget geek, so it's worth it for me. I like to keep a detailed log on my computer and track things like my SAC rate. Having an AI computer makes this almost automatic. You do pay a pretty big premium for it though.

Congrats on your purchase!!! I hope it is everything you were wanting...and more!!!

Dive safe and thanks for choosing Zeagle!

my ranger is durable to be sure, but it has some lingering mysterious internal issue creating increased buoyancy at inopertune times. been debating on hooking up with larry and getting the smaller bladder, or dumping the thing completely for a different brand.

I have the brigade and love it. If I change to any thign else it will be to a BP/W set up but that will probally be way in the future. Good luck with it

Thanks for the replies. I can't wait to get it wet! It's like x-mas eve at my house right now. I can't for tommorow. I'm driving my wife crazy.

Drive our wives crazy...unless they dive of course.

Do yourself a favor and go wrist mount. If you go console then the computer is stuck with that regulator unless you want to change it out. You will find that you need an additional regulator if you do a lot of diving. Your main one may be in the shop or you may have lent it out, not thinking you will dive and suddenly you get invited. Best to go wrist mount, so that if you are having to switch to your backup or even a rental in some cases, you will always have your own computer and compass for that matter.

I bought a Zeagle Brigade and Zeagle Flathead VI from Larry a little over a year ago, and couldn't be more thrilled.

In the same boat as Lukiedukie... love the Brigade, and would only consider switching to a BP/W setup.

As for computers... I'll toss a vote at the Aeris Atmos II, unless you really want to go the air integrated route.

I went back and forth between the legend lx and the Zeagle Flathead. I went with the legend only because my LDS sold the aqua lung and is not a zeagle dealer. Wanted to throw them some business and they matched the lowest price I could find online. I don't have to have the air integration, just like the feature, I'm considering the wrist mounted atmos II, (scubatoys has a great price on it) spg, and a retractable compass.
