I was out of town all day yesterday, so I am just now catching up...

Yes, the Ranger and Escape BC's have been changed to a sewn on shoulder. The waist panels are still adjustable, however. The truth is, less than 5% of all the BCs we sell leave the factory with different size shoulders than vest. We have kept the Stiletto, LTD, Tech, 911, SAR, and yes, even Larry's Brigade, with the Personal Fit System.

I have a mountain of work here, gotta get to work!!

I would like the ability to take off the velcro cumberbund to reduce the bulk.
The TechPack's semi-rigid back and simple waist strap would fit the bill, probably very well. That's the beauty of the PFS system.

Scott, I'm a 5%er. ;)
Medium waist, large shoulders, and you have no idea just good it felt to get a fitting BC after d!cking around with several other designs.

By the way, I never had problems with trapped air either.

I am not an expert but I did have a personal very bad experience in a Ranger BC in the Florida Aquarium.

IF you have not tried to dump the weights you better try.

The design of the handle with velcro on the top is a pretty bad idea. The velcro prevents the ripcord from being pulled.

If you do not believe me try dumping your weights with the velcro overlapping the red pull handle.

Please practice this!

Good point on that one. I did a land practice dump with mine so I could rethread it, no problem. But I thought the same thing and cut the back tab off a bit, works better but still secure.

dive4funOften,

Can I ask you to elaberate about the problem? I'd really like to hear what happened. It surprises me to hear about that because the ripcord has been on the market for about 20 years. Send a PM if you prefer.

Thanks, Chad

To ScottZeagle,

You don’t know how much I have been pleased with this Scubaboard.com. I have talked with so many divers and gotten so many valuable knowledge from this board. You are also one of them who have made this board more valuable because the dive mania and the existing or potential customers can communicate with a real manufacture’s representative. It is you. Recently, I have witnessed that many dive shop owners and dive manufacture’s guys have monitored this board to know the market trend and feedback about their products and services.

Even though you don’t argue the quality of Zeagle products, many divers in this board know that Zeagle is one of great BCs in the market. But, it doesn’t mean that everyone likes your products. If you heard or met with any customers who complained your products, please take up more positive attitude in that matter. Everyone is watching out your reaction. Everyone will remember your follow-up solution to those customers. I know it requires a lot of patience, but it would be better off for your company to satisfy the customers who complained in the long run.

I have never talked or met with Walter. But, I believe that he has been in the dive world for a long time. So, you might be able to have some ideas how to renovate your next models. I know it is a difficult because there are so many kinds of customers, but that is the business. It is not easy world. We are watching how Zeagle does well. We hope that your business is forever in the scuba market

Dive safe!
