I have a Ranger and a Halcyon BW/Wing. I lean to using the Halcyon rig in all of my diving, only because I want to standardize on one set of gear.
But I do love that Ranger, it is comfortable, efficient, bomb-proof, easy to get in and out of. I've had this rig for about 6 years or so and it is still good to go.

If you think you ever want to get diving with doubles think carefully about a backplate wings style rig. This way you wont have to have 2 BC's one for recreational diving and one for your doubles. Though some of use doubles for recreational diving. If you are going to be a single tank diver, nothing wrong with that, then the Ranger is tops.

Thanks to all who answered my post. I decided to go with the Zeagle Ranger.......dove it and love it. Thanks again for all the great support and information.

Zeagle is a better -- BC than anything SQ or USD puts out. We sold them all and the go to BC was the Zeagle Ranger or Tech.

Not that it matters but you can pick and choose the colors on the Ranger now.... Thought that was pritty cool.

Although I still feel the Backplate and Wings are the best BC on the market for many reasons, if I had to choose between a SQ and a Zeagle I would choose the Zeagle.
