Yeah the contrast was really weird to me as well. I didn't know the panels come in bright blue, now it all makes sense. Darn, why couldn't he order it in black just like everyone else. Anyway, I'm going to buy it, $100 for such a BC is bargain. If all else works well I'll be more than happy.

Buy it and make the rest of the shell fade accordingly.

You will probably switch to something else before it does but the sooner that bc becomes brown the better.
 
Ten years ago, we used packcloth for those side panels....and yes, they fade after time.

Now we use a cordura style material, which is heavier and does not fade as quickly.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm glad to know that the fade is normal, even to that extent. Scott, does Zeagle sell those side panels separately, and if yes at what price? Just in case I one day decide to replace them.
