It sounds as if I have a tank (steel 130 Worthington) that's too negative for me to dive without putting some air in my bc at depth. Diving aluminum or adding a dry suit would resolve the issue, but I've just got this big steel tank. Filled to the rated max, it's almost 12 pounds negative.RonFrank:I dove some HP Steel 100's (single cylinder) in Jupiter with a Ranger. I did not have a problem with rolling. I did however have some weight in the pockets as well.
This likely does not help you much. So as the dive progresses does the rolling cease? If so then it would seem you need to get some weight off you back. Other then switching the AL's I'm not sure how you would want to do that.
