If the reg/octo package were the same price, which would you choose for warm-water diving to depths of about 135 feet? Why?
dependability? breathing ease in all positions? dry? free-flow? compact/light? comfort? service? etc.

I may not be the right person to answer this, since I have only 2 dives on an Envoy, versus about 800 on a Titan LX. I had an opportunity to try a friend's new Envoy about a year ago. It is a good breathing reg, but I could not say that it was better than a Titan LX.
Either will do 135' easily. Either, if properly adjusted, should be dependable, and should not have free flow problems. I doubt that there is much difference in weight, either. I do like AL's comfo-bite mouthpiece better, but, I see no reason why one could not be installed on an Envoy if desired (my g/f uses one on her Sherwood).
The one area in which the Titan has a definite advantage is in the size of the Aqua Lung service network. Stuff happens--and usually at the worst possible time. If you plan to spend a lot of time diving in out of the way places, your chance of finding competent service and parts is better for the Titan. If you plan to do most of your diving in Florida, then it's a tossup, since Zeagle is pretty strong there.

For a performance difference, I can't answer, but I do know that the Aqualung regulators are coming with a free ocotopus right now. So that will prob make the Titan about $125 bucks cheaper if originally they were the same price.
