Does anyone have any experience with this BC? I'm looking for something light weight! i will be diving in cold water 7m wet suit or dry suit recreational. Appreciate any reviews or suggestions for better bc.
thanks

Why do you want something light weight for cold water diving? You'd be far better off with a heavy steel backplate and wing so you can take almost all of the lead off of your belt. Do yourself a favor and drive over to Deep Sea Supply in Pasadena and talk to Tobin....

Covert won't have the weight capacity for cold water 7MM or drysuit diving most likely. It's a travel friendly, warm water BC. Not a lot of lift either - 32lbs. And I believe the wing on that model is sewn in - unlike some of the other models in the line that are modular.
16 lb capacity touch fastener weight system

If you want a Zeagle Product look at the Stiletto for single tank or the Ranger. Or a ScubaPro Knighthawk.

I agree with Tbone - drive over and talk to Tobin b4 you buy anything. They also have a mfr's forum here.
SoCal diving is one place a BP/W makes a lot of sense since you're always carrying more weight to compensate for the inherent buoyancy of a layered 7MM or drysuit.

If you go with a BCD instead of a BP/W there's the flotation in the padding/jacket etc. that also needs to be compensated for.

I have a Covert, and really like it for travel to warm water destinations. However, I do not think Zeagle would recommend it for cold water with heavy weight requirements. I can put 16# in the weight pockets and a 5# weight in each of the cam band weight pockets (don't come with the Covert), but that is about it without donning a weight belt too.
