Someone was asking about the use of Ranger wings with a BP system, i am contemplating asking my Zeagle dealer (who i do a lot of business thru) about the Zeagle BP. Is it really any different to the others on the market? Is it more expensive, better/worse quality, any other info.

Do you know anyone who dives a Zeagle BP/Wings combo? I know there are other makers, i am enquiring about this one as it is an option where i live. I also have a Dive-Rite dealer at another store i am looking into. Will have to weigh up the packages they offer too.

One guy, he likes it. Works at a large local Zeagle dealer.
On all their bp I've seen so far the edges on the slots taking the webbing were fairly sharp edged. Only thing I didn't like about their plates.
Same on my old DiveRite shingle, the current ones have smoother finish there and would be my preferred choice of those two.

IF is has sharp edges, can i rub them down to stop such events?

Yep been diving Zealge BP&W for the last 18 months, I guess around 200 dives on my system now, honestly say I love it.

Anyway have a look at the link in my Sig and if you have any specific questions please let me know

I dive the Zeagle Bp and a "newwing designby Zeagle".The Bp allows for any Zeagle wing to be used and is very versatile for matching cylinder bands. You can dive single tank with it as well. The "sharp edges" issue has been corrected by Zeagle on their current BP's. If the dive shop has theseold BP's, Zeagle will do warranty work on them or you can just file them down and debur them to round them out. They are no more expensive then other BP's. The Zeagle BP comes in SS, Al or even Titanium. They have a standard and deluxe harness, You can get a 1 or 2 inch crotch strap. Zeagle even has a weight system that attaches directly to the BP for when you dive single tank. The new design wing has a center panel of material and a ballistic bladder cell. This is not their MANTA wing. You can have a Ranger, Tech, Little Bertha or Big Bertha Wing made with this BP panel. Lift ranges from 44 - 130 lbs
The Zeagle factory is just 1/2 hr from me. I have worked with them on developing some of their systems. I do also have a Dive Rite BP and Cassic Wing. If you wnat more info PM me.

Thanks again Rick for informing me on these Zeagle options, as you might tell (seeing as you answered many of these threads at some point) i am split between getting an all Zeagle set-up, regs and probably BP/Wings with them or a Dive-Rite BP/Wings and Apeks regs thru another LDS.

I take it you can use any of the back-inflate wings from the other "modular" back inflate BC's Zeagle run - however others have mentioned to me that a 40# (Dive-Rite Trek wing) might be overkill for singles, so i am wondering what smaller options Zeagle has apart from the 45# Ranger wing??

Gonna try to look into my Zeagle options with that LDS tomorrow night after chatting with the other LDS last night. What fun this shopping is, and then to do it all again sometime in the future (many times i am sure!).

I talked to a dive shop owner who is also a zeagle dealer, who dives zeagle regs. He said he really liked them, but only because he could keep them "tuned up."
