Thanks again to everyone and to Atomic for responding. It's that kind of customer attention that made me feel comfortable spending a bit more for atomic gear.

Originally Atomics were very similar to SCUBAPro and had metal valve bodies and were beautifully machines and finished.

Then SCUBAPro got cheap and started using plastic inside where they thought nobody would see, but Atomic kept using metal.

Which now places Atomic in the odd position of making a better reg than the one they were based on. So if you want a really nice SCUBAPro reg, buy an Atomic.
