In order to be DIR compliant, everyone would need to adopt the same type of cat. All the cats would have to be the same size, weight and color. No discrepancies between various adopted cats would be allowed. This will allow everyone to use the same care and feeding protocols even if they were required to exchange their cat for another cat from another DIR member.
