I understand your intent, but in the event this turns political, look for it in the pub.
Also I just reviewed the thread Peace For all Nations of which I myself contributed there seems to be a lot of political statements there . Is it because they are directed to Russia that makes it acceptable ?? I saw a picture of what looks like injured civilians . Is that Okay ? I am just wondering as Mega has changed it's rules on hate speech as long as it is directed to Russia . I would think hate speech is hate speech no matter who it is directed towards .

If my views / opinions pose a problem because they are contrary to the agenda of the day please let me know so that I may remove myself from this platform .

Why do we not hear about the war in Yemen where a child dies every 27 minutes from starvation ? When I called my Senator Chris Murphy to ask about this I was told ," This is a humanitarian disaster ". Why do we not hear about this ? Why is is acceptable to condemn one aggression and not the other ?? The first causality in war is truth and we are not being told the truth .

What do you mean why do we never hear about it? Maybe you're a little late to the game, or I am well informed. The Iranians are funding a proxy war there and in Syria too.

I guess I am a little late to the game . My Arabic friend told me it is a civil war between Saudi Arabia and Yemen that has been going on for eight years . From what he told me Saudi Arabia wants a government in Yemen favorable to them and Yemen wants to be free . Biden when he took office called the Saudis pariah and stated he would no longer sell them arms but then did a reversal stating they have a right to defend themselves .

My senator Chris Murphy originally supported this but he also reversed his position . This is what I was told and as I originally stated it was Chris Murphys office that told me that this is the biggest humanitarian disaster in history . If I am wrong I will correct my statement but I am not aware prior of any Iranian funding and that seems suspect to me that the Saudis would need money unless Iran is funding Yemen . And if that is the case Saudi Arabia needs to take out Iran unless this is a proxy war . Thank you for your reply .

Also what really got my attention was a cartoon of some civilians standing on some ruble of blown up buildings waving the Ukrainian flag with the caption ," now they'll see us ".

A long time ago I had the privilege of hearing famed attorney Alan Dershowitz speak and one of the comments he made had me perplexed for many years . Consisting of only 12 words Dershowitz stated that ," never ask a question that you don't already know the answer to ". I was confused to say the least .
Hi Richard, what Dershowitz was referring to is a general rule of thumb for attorneys questioning witnesses during a trial or hearing -- especially while cross-examining witnesses.

An attorney should generally know what the witness will say about key matters (from prior statements, depositions, etc.), so if you ask them about something while they are on the witness stand where you don't know what they will answer, there is a risk that they will say something that makes things worse for your case in front of a judge/jury.

Wait a second… a Civil War does not happen between 2 different countries. a Civil War happens between 2 different groups within the same country.

The Houthis are a group of extremist terrorists who want to take over the country and they're being funded by Iran…

Saudi Arabia comes into play bc they do not want the terrorist houthis to control Yemen. So Saudi Arabia is trying to defeat the houthis

Well I hear about it frequently considering my location.

It's a major cluster*** of a proxy war between Iran and several Gulf states.

You have to ask yourself then how can Iran smuggle weapons into Yemen (drones etc) but not medical supplies?

Thank you for your reply . That is a question that is beyond my capability to answer but is very logical .

Thank you so much for your clarification . I guess he who has himself for an attorney has a fool for a client . Or something like that . Once again many thanks .

Thank you for your civil response . Just like Brody said in Jaws , " I am only responding to what I was told ". I guess why I am so upset is children suffering . If I have misled anybody here than I apologize but I will stick to my original statement because I like to think I am informed and this is the first I had heard of this . I do not believe this is widely known .
