XS Scuba Spring strap size

Hi,

I'm wondering what size spring strap I will need. I measured 14.5" from pin-to-pin (OMS XXL Slipstream fins). I presume I will need the 12" Large sized strap, but from what I've read, the actual length including the attachment points etc of the straps is longer than the size stated.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to be placing an order with scubatoys soon and need to know which one will be best.

I don't know how useful this info is...but here goes anyway.

I have Turtle fins (cavernous foot pocket) retrofitted with XS Scuba spring straps (size medium 10"). They work great with my Bare drysuit rockboots (size XL, US shoe size 10). I have 3mm compression-resistant neoprene booties attached to my Bare Nex-Gen Pro drysuit that I cram into the rockboots. With this system, the fit is perfect. However, I find that the combo of huge Turtle fin foot pocket + medium XS Scuba spring straps is waaaaay too big for my not-so-bulky wetsuit boots. No big deal. I have another set of fins that I use when I dive wet.

I would recommend either contacting ScubaToys directly with the specifics of your setup (fin + boots) to see what they suggest...or simply buying the straps from an LDS. At least then you could exchange them quickly (without getting FedEx/UPS/Airborne involved).
