Lost my Oly C-5050 camera and Housing @ Red Slave on Bonaire. :( Found a replacement C-5050 Camera, but need U/W Housing

I got a 5050 and a PT-015. Great Shape, PM me if you are still in need.

Divr56,

Will the housing for the C-5000 fit the C-5050?

I'm not a big fan of Leisure Pro (and if folks want to argue that pick another thread), but they've got the the C-5000 housing on "Clearance" for $49 bucks.

Also a couple other OLY housings for around $50 bucks.

For those great prices, even I'd buy it from LP.

I am still searching for a housing for my Oly C-5050. I have decided that I am specifically looking for the Ikelite housing, because they are serviceable unlike the Oly Housing. If you have one for sale, please PM me rather than posting it to this thread. I lost out on the Ikelite Housing from FLTEKDIVER, because, although he PM me, he also posted it on this thread and Fishfinder bought it from him before I had an opportunity to reply to the PM.

Thanks for the offer. I have decided that I am interested in an Ikelite Housing because they are serviceable and have a greater depth rating. Please let me know if you run across someone wanting to sell one.

Just a quick two cents - I sold my Ike 8080 housing on Ebay this year and have mildly regretted it, though I also have a Nikon D70 in an Ike housing. That's a great little camera, and it's a good intermediate step between a point & shoot and a full SLR.

Ike housings can be kind of heavy, but the advantage is that you can see if it leaks - and mine hasn't ever leaked, even a little. Good luck!

Justleesa,

No. I haven't. I am trying to put together an order for 15 Ikelite housings, so that I can have the discontinued model produced.
