Hello,
I'm going to Chuuk in two weeks. I'll only have time for maybe 4-6 dives. Can anyone recommend specific wrecks I should try to dive? I'm a pretty new diver. Only done about 15 dives post certification.
Thanks for the help.

If you've made it all the way to Truk whatever else you have to do beside diving can be cancelled. Truk has it all! However, you must do the Shinkoku Maru - the absolute great dvie for a novice. Have a great time - we will all be wishing we were you. BTW they sell domestic San Miguel in Truk.

Fujikawa Maru, Sankisan Maru, Fujikawa Maru, Shinkoku Maru, Fujikawa Maru, Rio de Janeiro Maru, Yamaguri Maru, Fujikawa Maru,... Oh and did I mention the Fujikawa Maru? Really I have never been bored on any dive in Chuuk, but the Fuji is my favorite. Though there are others, the ones listed above are all easy dives and offer great multi level dive opportunities.

Rooster

How could you be impressed with the Fuji after the American Tanker?????

Tom,
The Tanker isn't that bad. Its better than some of the wrecks I did off NC when I was stationed there. And people came from all over the East Coast to dive those wrecks. The Kitsagawa Maru, Tokia Maru, or Comoran are better, but still not as good as Chuuk.

Nothing to add here, other than I compliment you for the clever thread name....
