Rumor has it when the Davie sank in 1945 the sole member of the crew had to scurry over the bottom to await rescue by the crew of the Salvage Prince. He the crew member was so grateful he paid a "reward" to the heroes for saving his life.

I have attached photos of the wreck that were taken from video rips with no lights in 100 feet of water. The visability in Kingston is currently running between 60 - 80 feet.

Enjoy

I was fortunate enough to have my 100th dive on the Davie this weekend. It was an absolutely fabulous weekend, great vis and I didn't get too cold! The Davie is one of the best wrecks (dare I say in the World), definately my favorite and we got the chance to dive it with Harold!

And after we got back from the long day of diving I was surprised to find that the guys from Northern Tech Diver had got me a cake to celebrate my 100th dive! So we all piled in next door, had some coffee, good food and cake. Definately a great weekend for both me and the fin. :D

Congrats on the first century. I did my 100th on the May long weekend at Gilboa Quarry. With our sail boat laid up this summer, at the current pace I may make 200 by the fall.
