Is anyone familiar with the wreck of the "Brightie" off Whitehall MI? I did some research on the boat's history but have not had a chance to dive the sight. I am looking for any GPS numbers you might have and any description of the wreck's condition. Thanks!

"As of last Saturday there is a bouy on the Brightie, North of Whitehall. There is a white 20 gal jug 12 feet below the surface and a 40 foot long tag line off of it with a green jug on it. Thanks to Southwest Michigan Underwater Preserve......." COPIED from a search.

I was told this weekend from an aquaintance who recently dove the site that it is little more than a pile of lumber at this point. Cannot personally confirm or deny though.
