JustinW:My dive buddy's sister just graduated from the lab, otherwise I think we could have got in.
I heard my name being called telepathically.renpirate:Oh well, I missed the part about it being protected. I wonder how far out the preserve streches.
edit: answered my own question. The land around the area is protected, the cove is theirs, but the waters outside are open. It would only be accessible by boat and a possible location is along the outside of the reef that protects the cove. Probably more trouble than its worth, but interesting.

Hey, did you know I have a dive boat and I also just happen to be working at Spud Point Marina, oh, 5 - 7 days a week now?
Gary Wilson is getting hooked up with the marine lab to become a diver for them.
I think he will be allowed to dive in that cove.
I'll bet though that a case of that china was dropped in the water somewhere near shore as it was being off loaded and that's why they're finding the small broken pieces of only china. I think it would be hard for the china to make it's way out of the holds of a ship and onto shore from a sunken ship somewhere off shore. Why wouldn't there be other stuff washing up too? I find it hard to believe that wave action and surge would be that selective.
I hope you're ready for the 24th.

Chuck Tribolet:Isn't china (ming dynasty, no less) all that turns up from San Augustin, the Manila
Galleon in Drakes Bay?
