hi i just dove a wreck in the caribbean island of st lucia and on one of the sides i noticed a tiny tiny fish head probably no bigger than the following emotion (:() perhaps even smaller.. i was in a sort of hole slightly bigger than the fishes head the rest of the body was inside and it was bobbing up and down.. showed it to another diver he had no clue what it could be... any ideas on what type of fish may do this so i can further research.. sorry no pics

Can you describe colors, fins, stripping, blotches anything other than headsize?

ok well it was brownish- darkish green and had realtively big lips which were closer to a pale orange colour all i was able to see was the head bobbing up and down i stared at it for like 3 mins and it jus kept bobbin didnt make an attempt to run or hide away... very very tiny fish-- it was at about 50 ft

Personally I am thinking "Gobie"

but it all depends on what you mean by "bob" was it sticking it's head out then in the hole like a worm or just sticking it's head out and moving it up and down? Both are descriptions of Gobie bevavior but they are usually in the Sand. Maybe a Jaw fish

or a Blenny

i was thinking goby and or blenny too but ill check fish base an see it was moving its head up and down im goin to do this now cuz the longer i wait the more detail i lose in terms of remembering it.. im goin to do that same dive in a couple months an check bak on it wen i get my cam it might still be there

It was probly a type of blenny.
Get a copy of the fish ID book to find out which kind, fishid.com or your LDS.
Some of them like to make their homes in tube/christmas tree worm shells.

exactly it was in some sort of what appeared to be soft coral or something made by a worm.. i happened accross him while examining a christmas tree worm very closely and spotted the little bugger jus chillin but as i said ill repeat the dive sometime soon and point it out to the dive master let him take a peek at it
