SAN DIEGO WRECK SPECIALTY

You're going to love this!

Jun 23-24, 2018

$349 with Specialty Course
$249 certified wreck divers.

Includes:

Six boat dives over two days and one optional kelp beach dive in La Jolla Cove cause, hey, why not.

Planned: Four wreck dives on the sunken battleship HMS Yukon and the prohibition-era Coast Guard Cutter Ruby E. (built to chase rum runners, later sold and converted to a smuggling vessel) and two kelp forest dives plus as a bonus one optional guided beach dive at La Jolla Cove, one of the top shore dives in California. Conditions permitting.

Included: PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Crewpack. There is some homework to complete before class.

Bonus: One guided beach dive at La Jolla Cove Monday morning June 25th. There is a small hike down to water, but worth it! (Optional for those driving back or flying back on Tuesday. You must wait at least 18 hours after dive before flying.)

Ground transport of dive gear from the San Francisco Bay Area if desired.

Divers must arrange their own transport and accommodations. Carpooling may be available. We will be launching out of the the Mission Bay area of San Diego.

Discounted gear rental available at $75 (normally $110)

Trip Prerequisites: This is not a technical course but it is also not beginner diving. You need fairly recent or extensive temperate water experience. We penetrate only to 130 contiguous feet distance to the surface max, horizontal and vertical feet combined, and must stay where you can see ambient sun light. Max depth will be around 75-85ft. Inquire with us before booking if you aren't sure you qualify. We can get you up to speed before the trip.

Dives with Wreck Specialty Course/crewpack: $349

Dives Only: $249.
