I saw it on Real TV, and they interviewed the guy later. A medium great white tried for him, but luckily only got board and did some minor damage to his hand and leg, if I recall. (20-50 stitches altogether.) You had to see it with the spot shadow, but the fin flopping over the wave was clear, if small. Amazing how quickly it went from no evidence of a shark, to attack, and back to no evidence of a shark.
