Check here to see the complete sequence of shots from which this one came. Not only will you see that this is a dolphin, but looking at the entire series will change the perspective - and reduce the size of the shadow considerably.
Remarkable how it does that.

Look at the 3rd picture in on the list.....that certainly looks like a shark face in the water to me!!!! (to the right on the surfer!)
