Certainly would as long as the operator does not bait. Have dived with sharks many times and none of those have been baited. Id rather have sharks around doing their thing than turn up doing ''our thing''. Looks like a nice dive.

When in Australia, diving off a live aboard, we saw and swam with sharks almost daily.
Beautiful creatures! Didn't care for the shark feeding dive. That was scary.

I wouldn't do what I saw in the photos in that thread (internet connection here makes video a waste of time), because it looks like it's a baited dive and baiting changes the animals' behaviour - turns the whole thing into a circus. On the other hand, I dive with sharks most days. Sometimes it's just the odd Blacktip or Whitetip reefie, often it's Grey reefs, on the really good days it's dozens of Greys, Galapagos sharks, big Silvertips, a Hammerhead or two, Silkys or pelagic Black Tips or Oceanic White Tips passing through, very (very) occasionally a Tiger... No big thing, as long as the sharks are just doing their thing and you're lucky enough to be there at the right time.

Oh yes! I would definitely do this. It was magnificent though I did get quite a jolt at the end of the video as divers surfaced. Shiver.

I've had a number of very cool dives with sharks, with only a couple of them a bit frightening. I'm not interested in the staged shark dives.

Pritty much what you can expect when diving in Umkomaas. The black tips I must admit is not always in large number as in the video. You need so luck and be there at the right time of year. One thing not shown is that Umkomaas is renounded for strongish currents and rough boat launches. Have also seen tigers on deco stops and humpback are often seen with calfs. Awesome!!
