The local distributor has sold the servicing parts to me for my Tx-100 and my friends at my usual dive op have agreed to teach me how to service my own reg, they have all the neccessary tools and even a ultrasonic cleaner..

Stone, thanks so much for remembering...I *really* appreciate it!! :)

Hi there Edge...if you don't mind me asking, how were you able to get parts from the distributor? I am an instructor myself with several Apeks regs (...and necessary tools) but have not been able to get parts kits. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Well Muddog, I'm located in Singapore. I told the shop that I had a friend in a dive shop in Malaysia that owns Apeks regs and is a ceritified technician, he didn't mind selling me the parts because he knew I was getting it serviced by people with know-how.

The prices are

58SGD for tx-100 1st stage
14SGD for tx-100 2nd stage.

In USD, that would be about 41USD. Is that an OK price?

But I have to agree that this restriction on parts is really irritating!
