Don't know about the citizen but the suuntos are both real similar in operation. The mosquito is lighter and can be used as a watch from day to day (stinger is a little bit bulky for that) but I believe they both have the same features: air/nitrox/gauge mode
The suuntos are known to be a little more conservative than some computers but that is a benefit from where I sit.

I went the low cost rout... I have a G-Shock made by Casio. I got it on Ebay for about 50 bucks, delivered to my door. It's been one of the best all around watches I've ever had. It's great to wear while diving and not.

Good luck,

Randy

I have the Citizen Hyper Aqualand and really like it. Picked it the stainless steel version for under $300.

well my wife has a hyper aqualand and i have a stinger. they are both easy to read and operate. the stinger is a bit larger and heavier but it will do nitrox and the citizen does not. the stinger will also do deco stops, i'm not sure about the cicizen. the citizen i have noticed is a bit more conservative. in general both watches are excelent for recreational diving.and both upload to pc. the stinger is about 1 1/2 the price of the citizen but i think it is worth it . i'm not sure of the other diferences.
