Winter Gulf Rig Diving?

You don't have to go 30 miles to get good viz. Last summer I got good vis. at 10 miles. I have seen blue water when I was fishing at close at 7 miles. Like just about any other water vis. depends a lot of the weather.

I don't think there will be many boats going out this weekend. The seas are forecast for 5-6' on Saturday and 5-7' on Sunday. So it is going to kind of be rough.
