Hi all,

So there are bubbles coming out of my H wing inflator, right around the infator push button (in fact it only bubbles when I add gas). I bought it in August 2010, so I don't think it is the old SS type that had a defect.

Now before I take the thing apart, I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I can't say I am very diy, but at the same time it could be fun to take the inflator apart and clean o-rings etc.

Thanks

Sounds like you need to service it. Probably just needs a new o-ring somewhere inside the power button cartridge assembly.

Here are some helpful links in case you want to take on this project:You'll need a tool like the Deep Sea Supply one to help you disassemble the power inflator (see the Dive Gear Express link above).

If you try to fix it and are unsuccessful or you just don't want to get your hands dirty, contact Halcyon Customer Service. I'm sure they'll take care of you. The Halcyon Power Inflator on a new wing should make it longer than a few months before requiring servicing.

O- rings must be replaced when inflator is disassembled not just cleaned
