rjack, there are situations that warrant redundant bladders.

If you are diving wet you won't be doing especially long deco dives so AL80s are fine and they are cheap. (the dives can't be all that long since you have no way to regulate your temperature and a potentially cold body doesn't offgas well at all).
If you are doing dives where larger steel tanks are needed to carry the gas, then you need to be able to thermally regulate on the dive and during the deco, so you need a drysuit anyway.
Its not that complicated, despite some agency's reluctance to just face the reality of deco diving (even in warm-ish water).
