Cozumel isnt the same as it was in 1990, but I still LOVE going there. The diving, the restaurants, the music.... The nostalgia and just knowing my way around always keeps me going back.

Um, cervesa? Baño? :D
Encontre una turista buceando quien sabia sola una frasa en Espanol y lo podia decir perfectamente. "Da me dos cervezas por favor."

Does it still feel like Mexico? If it is just a fancy dressed up folk place now, I might not enjoy it. I sure am missing the chance to go to Scuba Club.
Dressed up? Do balloon hats count?

I have heard that some of the restaurants at the southern resorts require men to wear long pants, but I have never been to any of them. My dress during the day is shorts or swimsuit and a Grateful Dead Tshirt; I swap the Tshirt for a Hawaiian shirt for going to dinner in the evenings. I wear "nice" shorts when I go for more upscale dining.

What is Azul Madera? Never mind; I'm sure Google knows. :D

A lovely restaurant on Calle 3, in between Avenidas 5 & 10.

Upscale: cool, calm interior--delicious food, skillfully prepped and presented. Not inexpensive. I think it's a gem.

Love the pork back ribs--yum!
