The resort itself has an excellent boat and crew. You won't find any better operation around. Hamilton Island also has good boat and crew and are also a PADI Gold dive operation.

weather for some reason SUCKS right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but in saying that - i got a message from FairyBasslet a little while ago, she just walked off the Nimrod on the GBR and the captain said it was some of the best weather he has seen - go figure

we are off to lady elliot island next august so looking forward to my first (and most prob only) GBR visit

We took a heli to reef world and did a drift dive. Current was rather swift and we went much farther than anticipated. It was all good. I completed one of life's checkmarks.
