hey everyone... my wife (non-diver) and I are going to be spending a week in Bonaire. we've done some research into what to do, but were wondering about these two things:

1. can anyone comment on the quality of the Sun Ocean Front Apartments in Kralendijk?

2. What MUST we do while we are there or we will kick ourselves later for missing?

thanks!

I'll be there the second week of June ... I'll let you know. You might also spend a little time at http://www.bonairetalk.com

There is a restaurant on the left side of the road if you are heading into town from the plaza resort,it is white and has great steaks. I do not remember the name only how good the food was we ate there 4 times. And the price was good for what we got.

thanks! we'll make sure to try it

Hi Andy,

You and your wife might like to go to the donkey habitat. It is located right behind the airport. The woman that runs the habitat (I forget her name) takes in injuried donkeys and baby donkeys that have been taken away from their mothers. It is truly a wonderful place to go.

You might also want to venture into the park in the northern part of the country. Make sure to drive a truck and not a car or you could get stuck on the road. The country is rugged and beautiful.

I think domino is talking about the Argentinan Grill. He is right, the food there is wonderful and cheap.

Enjoy your trip!!!

hey shannon...

the donkey habitat is on our list, for sure (did you see my poll about the donkey fighting the flamingo? no? lucky you) as is the park. good to know you enjoyed them.

as for the Argentinian Grill, we're there! thanks for the name
