Does anyone know why Scubapro uses "Mark" for their first stage designation? Also when did they change from Roman numerals to regular numbers?

TIA.

don't know definitively, but using Mark to designate types and configurations is standard in our military around WWII time frame, so I imagine that instead of trying to come up with naming conventions they just used the mark designation. Unsure about the numbering

The Mark V diving helmet, for example.

Just a guess, but maybe they switched to numbers instead of Roman numerals because they figured most people wouldn't be able to read beyond X. Or is it V? :)

Yeah, most people have no idea which Superbowl they're watching anyway. Just wait until Superbowl M...

I MK XXV SDCXX also takes up a lot of room (Mk25 S620 for the philistines) :dork2::cool:

Not sure why you have a one in the beginning? And that would be one thousand k. Not Mark 25!
