C.S.R. (no not crs which is the condition I have) carotid sinus reflex. carotid arteries run up either side of your neck. if blood flow is restricted to the brain, it sends signal to make heart beat faster. if not enough blood is reaching the brain, more signals to the heart. the loss of consciousness is caused becuse the brain isn't getting enough O2.
