That’s really nice wording.
If you’re being serious you’re free to use it. I aim for accuracy, conciseness, and accessibility.

I am serious. Your wording is excellent.

Having a bit of a cussed streak, I will probably sit on it and mull it over for a day or 2. Maybe one of the other mods will act on it first.

Thank you. It’s never perfect but I take pride in my writing and know it’s better than average. Now to make some income from it…

It’s just what they do now, sometimes takes several hours, just post a bump when it gets the ok.

Don't bump it, it’s against the ToS.

It is against the ToS to bump a classified ad that took 14 hours to get approval? I posted a reg set and it had fallen down to page 5 before it finally got approved. I bumped it and within 20 minutes it had sold. We are just supposed to let the ad get buried?

@Wookie @Akimbo
Can the mods just "promote" the thread during the approval? Effectively bumping it? Worst case a "Thread Approved" reply to the thread by the mod would serve the purpose (without a TOS issue) if there isn't a simple behind-the-scenes functionality,

This is exactly what should be done, in my opinion and I don’t know if it was a joke or not but to think that someone would act to not approve by spite is disquieting, to say the least.

@-JD- @lexvil That is a better option. However, it still can leave the tread buried. In my case, I posted a reg set at 9:30 am, but was not approved for 14 hours around 1:30 am. If the mod approves the ad and replies approved, that still puts it on page 2 by the time most people get up to check scubaboard.
I am not trying to be difficult, scubaboard has helped me tremendously. Just hoping to be able to find a good solution. Scammers are the worst and ruin everything.

I like you, you're funny.
Hah! You, kind sir, have likely made my day... after having spent hours crafting a cover letter for a job I don't really want, and am now only going to bed at past 6am. ;)

I hope you get offered the job and then turn it down🫠

So, the part I am not entirely clear on - once the first thread is approved for classified, the seller should not need any additional approvals, is it correct? Then no need to have work around for bumping a thread, other than that first time….
