Why do the zippers on women's wetsuits stop at the waist?

I used to wear a 3mm oceaner in the pool. It was great, the zipper ended mid butt and lots of room for the girls.
 
Unfortunately, females represent considerably less than half of the market and require something like 3-4x more stock sizes to achieve the same mediocre fit in off-the-shelf suits as men.

I am hopeful that off-the-shelf wetsuits will go the way of the buggy-whip as full body 3D scanning/digitizing technology becomes available. The cost of CNC (Computer Numeric Control) cutting has become very competitive and the suits are hand-made after that anyway.

Unfortunately, I have a history of being an optimist. :(
 
Shame on you Shazta for reviving a year old thread. It was always my prime example of how Dsix36 could shut a conversation down just by being a pervert.
