Green,

When I saw that you had posted here I snapped my neck, but alas you just teased us.

This is what all Scubadom would like to know. But it probably will remain a mystery to us all for a long time.

Joewr,

Tackle, Guard, Nose.

Then I coached my high school for 5 years. It was my College job.

No LB's here.

ha ha !!!

when I first started posting, a few years ago (never owned
a 'puter prior to 1997), the comments were made to the
effect "what the h*** is a green manelishi?"

there would be web-searches and every once in a while some
one would find 'the answer'

ckhalan66,

Tackle, Guard, and Nose...are you young (read, "old", a word I hate) enough to have gone both ways(in the football sense, of course)? Well, that makes two of us, if true! Hmmm, maybe there are more of us on this Board than I thought! Socaldiver has grandchildren also!

Joewr...feeling younger everyday!

This is what I have so far - this is actually a Fleetwood Mac song that Judas Priest covered on their 1978 album "Hell Bent for Leather" (My college roomate was/is a Judas Priest fan - for some reason that song title always stuck in my head...)

The Green Manalishi(With The Two-Pronged Crown)
(Peter Green)

Now when the day goes to sleep and the full moon looks
And the night is so black that the darkness cooks
And you come sneaking around, making me do things I don't want to do

I can't believe that she needs my love so bad
Always creeping around, trying to drive me mad
Busting in all my dreams, making me see things I don't want to see

'Cause you're the Green Manalishi with the two-pronged crown
All night dragging us up, or you're bringing us down
Just taking my love, and slip away
Leaving me here, just trying to keep from following you

Nice to know the backgrounds,I like being on ,inand around the water.Guess how often I play hooky and go diving.;0

Well first I wanted to be Iguana Don, then TexasMike but durn names were already taken....

Usually I use Tango-21 (My army callsign) but this beig a diving board I hemmed and Hawed looking at this big lake to the south of my office......

Back in the 70s when a company would own ONE computer and you'd have to share it, I'd sign up for time as "R. Oakey". The operators started calling me "roakey" and it became my computer/pen name. And over the years some folks started calling me "Roak" for short.

Face-to-face I go by "Roger" however.

ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz, I know, I know. :-)

Roak

Ps. First time I ever got to use the yawning icon!

My given name is Davida which most people have a hard time pronouncing (Duh-VEE-duh)so to make it easy it was shortened to Dee. I am what I am and have no need to be cryptic so my name is it.

I'm known as Aquaflash on a couple of photography boards...it was given to me by a fellow photographer.
