i have flown into cancun dozens of times. If a person really has a tough time getting on to coz with their flight then the process to the ferry is not really that bad. There are porters if your gear is too heavy. When i have too many bags i pay a dollar a bag to be carried. It's never that far each time. I admit if it's your first time then the process will be test in travel prowess.
But if you can get the flight to the island and it isnt a lot more then for sure that obviously would be the best. For those that need to save some money, the bag drag is an adventure for sure. Pm me if you want help with the schlep adventure. Kevin

For sure you can't get hurt very much if you get a decent camera for $100.

Folks another option is to look in the classifed section here on the board, I see many nice camera rigs going for dimes on the dollar.

Thanks for the info Cardzard, I'll be checking that out and see if I can find a better value before the trip.
