Steel 72, 3AA 2250, in between the original hydro month and year is a diamond with an N in the center. Norris? No other markings other than the serial number. Trying to match another tank for a double steel 72. Only other guess is a removed label oval, looks about the right size for Dacor, but don't believe that Dacor was the OEM for tanks with their name.

Don't get bent on finding an exact match by name rank and serial number. Find two tanks that have just about the same height, volume, working pressure, and diameter. Nothing else really matters

Yes it's a Norris. Along with Pete's comments, I'd add that you want the buoyancy of each tank to match as closely as possible. There is a substantial difference between the buoyancy of my PSTs and my Walter Kidde LP72.

Captain (on this forum and vdh) knows a lot about LP72s.

Thank you all for the info, I did "double post" as I was not sure which thread would be best. Tanks or vintage, question was kind of both. Sacred Silley, sent a PM.
