Who has the best tank prices on the web? I've looked at leisure pro and diversdiscountsupply already. Are there any better places that anyone knows about?

the tanks and valves section of the board.

I've only gone shopping a few times but LDS prices have been quite competative with LP and they have sweetened the deal with some free air fills. Let your fingers do the walking.

The best prices are to be had at Bubba's Online Tractor Supply and Welding Shop at www.badairinc.com

I'm a supporter of online purchasing - when it makes sense - and have found that for tanks it rarely makes sense. From first-hand experience with both Leisurepro and Divers Discount, I'd suggest that you buy your tanks locally - the shipping costs will eat your online savings up plus you can usually get your LDS to throw in a bunch of free fills and maybe a nitrox sticker.

Penny-wise, pound foolish and all that.

I think I agree with the idea of the lds for tanks, a friend of mine bought his oms dbl's from LP and no shop in the area wants to touch them. They all said they would have to be o2 cleaned before they would put nitrox in just to be snotty I guess, the oms tanks and manifold is already scrubbed.

Talk to your LDS after you have found what the prices are online. I did and they came WAY down on their price. They have not done this for BC's or Regs, but on the tanks they went from $389.00 each down to $250.00 each on a pair of SP 95's made by Faber.
Good luck!
Bill
