Two well known hoax-sters and an incompetent, fraudulent author???? A movie based on mis-information???

It would be sad if this turns out to be the case....

Enough already tonka. We know you love Gary Gentile with a passion.

You ask a question that's almost impossible to quantify. People get into the Scuba industry to make money, but i'm sure that most realize they will never make it to Microsoft, GE or Warren Buffet status. The Scuba market is too small of a niche and the there's no way that one company can provide the full spectrum of services and make the big bucks. I mean, you would have to own equipment manufacturers, medical services, retailers, hotels and destination services 9dive ops, shops, etc.).

Scuba will always be a passion that's shared by only a few people. God Bless those folks who make Scuba fun and safe for the rest of us and are able to make a living from it. That said, I can't think of one person who has made as much of an impact on Scuba as Jaques Custeau. Whether he made a huge profit from his lifetime of service & research is debatable.

I have made a small fortune from diving. Sadly, I started with a large one! 8-)

John Cronin, founder, CEO, of PADI

Dick Bonnin founder of Scuba Pro--sold to JWC

Bill & Bob Mistral, founders of Body glove ( Bill is in the great reef in the sky)

I would agree with the above for mfg and selling scuba gear. I would say Mel Fischer for using scuba gear.
