Anybody been to Whitestar yet? Is the fill station open on weekends? I have never been there but plan on heading down this weekend.

I've been going there the last three weekends. When I get there around 8-9am the fill station is still not there yet. He usually has it set up by the time I leave around 11-12. The water is about 43 on the bottom. Visibility is OK, but not as nice as it was at the end of the year. Platforms were still down as of Sunday. There is a nice new ladder entry set up at the deep entrance, I think some SCUBA club donated it. Oddly enough there have been a lot of fisherman there the last three weeks, way more than I have ever seen.

We are supposed to head down on Sunday. Whitestar is a nice place. Not as far drive as Gilboa. I believe the fill station is open. They usually have it parked up by the pavilion. Not sure how the vis is this time of year.
