While Max Bottomtime and Kevin Lee set a record for the most number of critters seen on two dives, I came back with a handful of images.

Still plenty of salp chains on the south side of Palos Verdes, and Corolla spectabilis drifted by occasionally.

We each saw a Scrippsia pacifica.

Diaulula sandiegensis buddies

Triopha catalina is standard on WPR

Nudi wearing a white lace dress, Tritonia festiva, was abundant. I can't resist them.

Corynactis glommed onto deteriorating Pyrosoma.

Kevin got some spectacular images from our White Point Rock dives, including a Pegea spiral (darn it): Latest SoCal Dives - Kevin Lee's Photos

I don't think you should ever be apologetic or disappointed with a dive where you can get jelly photos like that . . .

Beautiful work!

Excellent series Merry! Love the Tritonia festiva reaching off the Gorgonian. Perfect pose ;) Superb pelagics as well. You really have a knack for capturing those drifters.
